Association Zaedno organized a practical seminar on Balkan folk dances and music under the name Balkan dances and you with him. The seminar was followed by a concert. The event was organized with the financial support from the Czech Ministry of Culture and the Creative Europe program of the EU. The seminar was designed for dancers, musicians and general public.

We organized similar seminars occasionally since 2003. Our goal is to preserve and popularize the Bulgarian and Balkan cultural and folk traditions and language among members of Bulgarian minority, children and youth, but also to familiarize the general public with those traditions. Connecting link of our activities is the folk culture and traditions.

On the program of the Balkan folklore evening was Greek step by step dance workshop, Bulgarian dances workshop and performance, traditional Balkan wedding show, Serbian dances workshop and performance, Greek traditional music concert, Belly dancing show and traditional Balkan Cuisine degustation. The evening was moderated by Tzveta Kamburova. Lectors ware Marie Selingerová, Teresa Blažková, Todor Ralev, Cvetelina Genčeva and others. Performed the greek music band Acropolis, sung Atina Langoska, on the bouzouki played Nikolas Panatsis. Performed dance ensembles Bulgari Prague, Radost Prague and Veselie Bratislava. The folklore music and dances from Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia, Greece, Turkey, Croatia were presented. In the event took part around 250 people from many nationalities. The Bulgarian national radio and other media reported about this Prague event.
